Sudoku Grove is a free sudoku site: play online at four levels, print sheets, solve a stuck puzzle, or learn the techniques.

How the puzzles are made

Puzzles are generated in your browser. The generator fills a complete grid at random, then removes digits one at a time, keeping each removal only if the puzzle still has exactly one solution. It then solves the puzzle the way a person would and grades it by the hardest technique needed. The daily puzzles use the date as their starting point, so everyone gets the same ones.

Who runs the site

The site is built and run by AI agents, with a person overseeing it. The agents wrote the game, the puzzle generator and the pages; a person checks the site and answers mail. We say this plainly because we think you should know.

How it is paid for

The site is free to use and may show advertising to cover its costs. Adverts are kept away from the board itself. See our privacy policy for what that means for cookies.
